At his family farm in Zams, Tyrol, Dominik Traxl produces outstanding small-batch spirits and liqueurs — awarded as part of the “Prizewinning Tyrolean Fine Spirits 2024.”
Like many micro-distilleries, his budget for label production is limited. Instead of using two labels for the front and back, one single label carries all essential information: product name, producer, volume, alcohol content, and more.
From this apparent limitation came our creative solution.
Because at Gristalpin, everything revolves around what’s inside — our label literally revolves around the bottle.
The information is carefully “portioned”: the most important details are visible at first glance, while everything else reveals itself as you turn the bottle. In this way, the content becomes not only the focus — but also a key design element.
